Previously, he led publicity and marketing at Penguin Random House’s Southeast Asia operations. He is known to blend traditional publicity with digital storytelling to champion award-winning, bestselling and critically acclaimed authors and has worked with names such as Omar Musa, Ivy Ngeow, Saras Manickam, Patti Smith, Ashley Winstead, Tshering Tobgay, among several others. His campaigns have earned him awards from the Singapore Book Publishers Association in both 2024 and 2025. Outside publishing, he writes on arts and culture, with a specialisation in pop-culture and celebrity profiles in ELLE, Esquire, Scroll and The Federal. An experienced speaker and moderator, he’s appeared on many national and international platforms including Ubud Writers and Readers Festival, Singapore Book Council, Bangalore Literature Festival, Jaipur Literature Festival, Kolkata Literary Meet, Seagull Books and more.
